Caleb Cotner, DO, is already a member of the United Hospital Center family, serving as a resident physician in the Family Medicine Residency Program. He joins Bridgeport Physicians Care to practice Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy (OMT), a form of hands-on medical therapy that relieves pain, improves mobility, and promotes long-term healing.
A graduate of Arkansas Tech University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, he graduated summa cum laude and went on to receive his degree in osteopathy from the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine.
An Eagle Scout and Gold Humanism Honor Society member, he has been actively involved in his communities throughout medical school by volunteering to teach CPR to community residents, and to help dispose of hazardous/toxic litter at a community apartment complex and playground.
During medical school, Dr. Cotner was also actively involved in teaching other medical students. He offered tutoring in biological sciences and helped professors teach osteopathic manipulative therapy and other clinical skills.
He has also participated in research projects as well as performed presentations for medical conferences. His professional affiliations include the American Medical Association.
