Melinda Frazee, MD, brings a wealth of experience and community involvement as she becomes a member of WVU Medicine United Hospital Center’s medical staff.
Graduating from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, specializing in Human Resources, she earned a Master’s in Business Administration from Davenport University. She then earned her MD from the University of Medicine and Health Sciences, St. Kitts, and took her residency in Family Medicine at United Hospital Center (UHC).
She is Board certified in Family Medicine and comes to UHC, having been an assistant professor in the West Virginia University School of Medicine’s Community Practice.
In addition to research, she has published articles in professional journals, made presentations at conferences, and has been active with the Harrison County and Doddridge County Health Departments, encouraging healthy lifestyles, the Mommy and Me Community promoting women’s health, pregnancy awareness and childcare, and the Women’s Health Clinic promoting optimal woman health, encourage healthy lifestyle, provide women health care and prevention.
Memberships include the American Board of Family Medicine, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Medical Association.
